Karen Voong thought the girl checking out the merchandise at her West Edmonton Mall store yesterday looked familiar, but it wasn't until one of the girl's friends addressed her by name that it all came together. Voong, owner of Beautie Junkie, realized that the customer in her shop was none other than teen queen Hilary Duff. Duff, a bodyguard and a couple of teenage friends looked around for about 20 minutes and came away with $150 worth of cosmetics. "She was really nice," Voong, 25, said. "Her voice was kind of scratchy, probably from the concert (the night before at Rexall Place)." Voong added that Duff was impeccably dressed, and contrary to tabloid rumours, she looked "normally thin, not anorexic thin."
